GIF uploads can now play as animated ASCII previews, and the converted result can be downloaded as a GIF. For a still image, turn on Motion effect to animate the source preview and make an animated ASCII GIF without constantly rebuilding the regular text preview.

The homepage now pairs original animated artwork with an animated ASCII interpretation. Visitors can switch between color and monochrome, then choose character, dither, pixel, or dot-only rendering. Motion sampling is kept separate from full ASCII rendering so the visual showcase can move without rebuilding the complete text image on every source frame.

Two focused tools for text-based ASCII art
